Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (which I originally featured in this post), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! Where did you purchase them?
I grabbed mine from Cettire when they had a great deal going on.
I ordered them on April 28th and they were shipped to me by April 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .
How expensive are they?
When I grabbed my pair in spring, I paid just under $390, but their regular price is $513.91.

Are they true to size?
Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me.
They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up
How comfy are they?
They only needed minimal break-in time..
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is unique. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.
Would you recommend them?
Absolutely! Just try not to pay full price. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is worth it. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also be smart.
